Halloween and Reformation Day

I never thought about it. But, it is kind of interesting that Martin Luther started the Reformation on Oct 31st (Halloween). And when I say interesting....I mean creepy. Seriously, he could have picked anyday. But, thats the one he chose??????

 That's not the main point of Danielle's article. But, it certainly got my attention. The main point of her article was to say that it's ok to expose my children to Halloween and all its gore.  We have to see the ugliness of evil to truly appreciate the light.

Halloween Party

It was the R's annual Halloween party last night. We had a blast as always. Captain Awesome's Facebook status said it all. He stated that we were going to a Halloween party and we were hoping for great snacks. There were tons of great snacks (that I luckily avoided) that everyone else enjoyed. It was great to see friends that we hadn't seen in a while. It was a such a great evening.

The kiddos are going to be cowboys this year. So I snapped a picture of them before we went. The pictures turned out pretty good. So I'm going to put them on their Halloween bags.

The kiddos and I loved all the decor. Mrs. R. really goes all out for Halloween:)
